A Quality Payments Scheme, which forms part of the Community Pharmacy Contractual Framework, was introduced from 1st December 2016 until 31st March 2018. As part of the interim arrangements for the first six months of 2018/19, it has been agreed that a further £37.5 million is to be invested into an extension of the scheme, with a June 2018 declaration. This declaration point will operate similarly to previous declarations and will continue to reward community pharmacies that successfully meet the quality criteria. The interim Quality Payments Scheme 2018/19 is largely like the Quality Payments Scheme 2017/18 except for a small number of minor changes. This PSNC Briefing outlines the changes that have been made to the Quality Payments Scheme.PSNC Briefing 016/18: The interim Quality Payments Scheme 2018/19 – A summary of changes to the Scheme
