Submit your interest for the new Pharmacy Blood Pressure Testing Service

East Riding of Yorkshire CCG and Hull CCG in conjunction with the British Heart Foundation (BHF) are looking for expressions of interest from pharmacies to deliver a new fully funded Pharmacy Hypertension Screening Service. Proposed launch date 1st February 2019.

All Healthy Living Pharmacies within East Riding of Yorkshire and Hull CCG boundaries are invited to express an interest in providing the Blood Pressure Testing service.  In determining which pharmacies will participate in the service the CCGs will apply the following selection criteria:

  • Ease of access for residents within the locality
  • Location within the East Riding of Yorkshire and Hull CCG area with respect to other pharmacy providers
  • Location within the East Riding of Yorkshire and Hull CCG area with respect to identified gaps in estimated prevalence of hypertension and Quality Outcomes Framework disease register for Hypertension
  • Pharmacy team including locums fully aware and committed to providing the service at the time of expression
  • Pharmacy willing to participate in evaluation of the service and use of PharmOutcomes to collect data
