Community Pharmacy Assurance Framework (CPAF) – Contract monitoring for 2016/17

Community Pharmacy Assurance Framework (CPAF) – Contract monitoring for 2016/17

June 16, 2016

The CPAF must be completed every year as a demonstration of compliance with the Community Pharmacy Contract.

The process includes a short questionnaire consisting of 10 questions which all pharmacies are asked to complete.  The information collected from this questionnaire along with other information held is used to identify if a pharmacy needs to be considered for a visit.  Only if the pharmacy is to be considered for a visit will the second part of the process – the full comprehensive CPAF pre-visit questionnaire – be initiated.

The CPAF Screening Questionnaire 2016/17 will be available from Monday 6th June 2016 until Sunday 3rd July 2016.

All pharmacies will receive a link to complete the screening questionnaire either via e mail from NHS Business Services Authority or from their own Head Office.  (Ensure you enter Pharmacy ODS Code into the box provided).
